Vince Long-Sleeve Maxi Shirtdress
Floor length tees and tunics have recently become a cool new alternative to wearing a maxi skirt or dress this summer. The anti-crop top, is a must-try in my eyes. Although you can find high-slit midi dresses and side-slit tees at your go-to fast fashion retailer, I thought I'd give the look a go with a floor-sweeping garment I already owned. So, I layered my dark blue satin maxi shirtdress from Vince over a pair of high-waisted denim shorts and unbuttoned the dress to the waist. Although the dress is designed to have an oversized slouchy fit, the synched waist defines the waistline and makes it perfect for pairing with shorts. The denim shorts temper the shirtdress's dramatic floor-sweeping design and two high side slits. Together, the combo channels a laid-back style that's perfect for summer.
