Ivory Slip Dress and Tan Blazer Outfit in London
A Neutral Slip Dress and Blazer Outfit
For an early fall day in London, I layered a tailored tan blazer over an ivory satin slip dress. The blazer brings structure to the softness of the dress, creating a neutral outfit that feels polished while remaining relaxed enough for daytime.
A woven bamboo bag, warm brown slingback heels and delicate gold jewelry add texture without interrupting the understated ivory and camel palette.

How to Wear a Slip Dress with a Blazer
A blazer gives a slip dress enough structure for daytime and transitional weather. To create similar proportions, choose a single-breasted blazer that falls below the hip and wear it open over a simple slip dress.
Keeping the dress, blazer and accessories within an ivory, camel and warm-brown palette makes the different textures feel cohesive. Slingback heels keep the outfit polished, while loafers, flats or knee-high boots can make the same combination work for cooler weather.
